Pachinko Operator Plans Smartphone Game
In July, a company that said it planned to open a Pachinko laboratory in Salt Lake City, Utah, said Tuesday it had asked a software provider to produce digital Pachinko games for smartphones and tablets.
CMK Gaming International Inc (CMKI) is working with Route 1 Games, a UK-based game development and publisher.
According to a May filing by CMKI to OTC Markets, a New York-based over-the-counter stock exchange, CMKI recently purchased a 100% stake in a Nevada corporation called CMK Nevada, which "owns and operates three retail game centers commonly called 'Pachinko Parr' in Japan." 파워볼실시간
CMKI's digital game players are in development in Salt Lake City and have the opportunity to earn points and rewards to make up at Pachinko stores scheduled to open this year, the company said in a statement.
Shana Weiner, described as CMKI's chief executive, said in a recent announcement: "…We hope this mobile app will give our customers a taste of what's there when we open our Pachinko store in Salt Lake City."
CMKI believes its mobile games will lead customers to its planned U.S. office and help introduce players to some of Pachinko's modern versions available in Japan.
According to a statement on Tuesday, the company aims to own and operate Pachinko sales locations "all over the United States."
In Japan, Pachinko, a game in which players get back a steel ball in a pinball-style upright cabinet as a prize, is regulated by designating it as speculative entertainment, not gambling.
